In all the hustle and bustle, I almost forgot to write this week! It’s a short one this time around. I just wanted to share a little about with I learned this Christmas.

The week of Christmas began with a shift at the hospital, constipated baby and cookie making. As one day rolled into the next, it seemed as if there was not enough time in the day to accomplish everything. In some ways this Christmas was the best and in others, I found it lacking. I found myself thinking of what we could cut out so that we wouldn’t have to be so busy. What traditions wouldn’t mind taking the back seat this year? It’s a good thing I have an amazing hubby who wouldn’t let me slack on the memory making because many memories were made this year for our little men. But would they notice? We accomplished all our goals on the holiday tradition check list but I couldn’t help but think that maybe it was too much. Or maybe I just shouldn’t be writing at the end of a busy day!

Overall, we had an amazing holiday. Celebrating with family, friends and many loved ones. Make sure to remember that there is only one holiday season every year. Whether it is crazy busy or slow and mundane, be thankful. Be thankful for crazy relatives, snow football with beastly brothers, and Hallmark movies by the fire. Stop trying to cut out traditions and embrace the memories. Hope your Christmas was Merry and that your New Year be blessed!
